OCsComments Stumbled a across your Honor amongst Thieves not too long ago, and I must say that I
enjoy it immensely - I hope you'll make some more comins with Louis and the commedore. Can't help but wonder, though - at some point - could they run into Captain Jack Sparrow?! I'd love to see that.   I really love the character designs!! I apologize as I stumbled upon your lovely gallery so late! I can't wait for you to complete the project - GOOD LUCK! I would love it if this became a cartoon series! The idea is fantastic!
 I have just been through a huge portion of your gallery and am falling in love with "Honour amongst thieves".
 Louis is the fun, exciting, safe, gay friend that every woman needs and James is the swashing buckling swoon-worthy macho protector every woman thinks she needs. The jury is out on any redeeming qualities of Santiago but damn what a voice of that voice actor. I spent another huge portion of time on youtube listening to it all. Excellent work my dear. Love all those character sheets and little snippets of back story that will make everyone holding their breath for the final version of your project. All the best from this older Canadian lady from Quebec who is now watching and fangirling YOU. I'd like to think that fangirling is a polite Canadian way of being a stalker   PS....my favorite is the semirealistic and emotional piece of art depicting Louis and his Spanish Ex-Boyfriend. I'm blown away by your comment, I'm so glad you like my characters so much! It's support like this that makes me even more determined to do something with HAT, I just hope I don't disappoint!And hello to Quebec from sunny Singapore. I'd love to do more semi-realistic Louis snippets, but unfortunately I just don't have the time right now. His hair is an entity all on its own! I've spent some time...okay a lot of time....going through your gallery and I love your characters from your new Jedi to your flamboyant pirate and the Voodoo clan. I keep coming back to HAT though so I went and created in my favorites gallery a folder dedicated just to HAT. Hope that's not too stalkerish of me
 I like how you bring Louis et all into the future or into other fiction. Louis would have had a wonderful time with Jareth's wardrobe....mind you, you have given Louis his own kind of playful magnetic magic charisma. I think he and Jareth would have been fun together although by all accounts of your characterization your Louis is a gentleman and does not have a mean streak unless of course it is warranted....but even so they would have gotten into all sorts of mischief. I think I have been fangirling enough for one night. All the best to you over in Singapore. Hope that you are enjoying your classes. I imagine you are coming close to the end of the semester? I've listened to the voices in the PodCasts, I've seen the animation on YouTube...if nothing else everyone is having a terrific time making this so I don't see how this project won't be a success for you. We all look forward to seeing the final version some day.
I was thinking that drawing that hair is hard enough...imagine curling the actual thing every day! All the best from freezing Quebec....-10°C this morning with a bit of snow.  Say, since Louis is from an aristocratic family and lives during the reign of Louis XIV, has he ever been to Palace of Versailles or met the king in person? (Sorry about the weird question, but since I'm a student of history, I'm a little curious...)
I'm still working out the exact timeline for Louis, but if the Palace of Versailles was already completed during his adult life then he would definitely find a way to weasel himself in, if not to meet the king then definitely to see its famous interior. I take a lot of inspiration for the architecture for Louis's world in France from Versailles. It's absolutely gorgeous.
