Did anyone else see the latest Random Contest on Neopets?
--- Competition Entry Text--Everyone knows red, black, and silver make the snazziest team colors. The Virtupets hoodie combines all three in a fashionable ensemble that makes you look good while still flaunting that team support! The fabric is light with a two-way stretch, so you can wear it even in warmer climes and don't have to feel restricted in your movements. Choose between wearing it closed to show off your team name, or open with the addition of a zipper down the front. The Virtupets team logo is painted on the back of the hoodie, as well as on the right side. A red-and-black stripe down the right sleeve compliment the hood.
(PS: Dr. Frank Sloth T-shirt and Team Virtupets cap are not included with every order of the Team Virtupets "Back to the Hoodies" Hoodie).
(PPS: This hoodie was designed by myself. The logos, "VIRTUPETS" text, and cap and T-shirt were all hand-painted using fabric paint and fixed by ironing according to the instructions by myself. Adult help was sought for the actual sewing of the hoodie, though it was willing help. Team Virtupets is not to be associated with Dr. Frank Sloth and don't endorse the use of threats or blasters to encourage teamwork).
So this is where I've been away all week, bent over a table painting like crazy, and constantly eyeballing the clock while willing the paint to dry faster between coats. All logos, text, even the T-shirt and cap are painted by yours truly. The hoodie was NOT
sewn by me; it was tailored by the same wonderful lady who made the tunic, gugel, and tights of my Clopin costume, but following my designs.
Hopefully that isn't too
much "adult help" in the Neopet Team's book, and hopefully I'm not showing too much of my face for their standards (a rule requirement for the entries). If I win something despite all these doubts, then whoop!
If not ... so what, I've still got my own frakking VIRTUPETS HOODIEEEE!!!!
(Unfortunately Singapore decided to get whupped by one hell of a tropical typhoon today, so the photos came out blurry and dark on account of the storm outside).--Sak
