Speaking of makeup...did you know that it was the designer Coco Chanel who invented tube lipstick? She never went anywhere without her red lipstick on, so she needed a way to conveniently carry extra lipstick for touch-ups without it making a mess in her purse. And great work with the details on the costumes! They look great
No problem I'm not big into makeup, either, though I do like to play around with different hairstyles (imitating styles from past centuries, styles from movies/TV, etc.)- I have to wonder how on earth the nobles managed to get their hair/wigs to hold all those wild hairdos back in the day, before they had hairspray and hairgel...I feel like I've read about it somewhere, but then again, maybe not? I pick up odd bits of trivia all over the place, and somehow I manage to keep most of them straight...it comes in handy sometimes!
Hmmmm...makes sense. Yeah, I'm not all too familiar with the wigs and makeup part, though I do know fashions, folklore, and daily living in centuries past.
