Honour Amongst Thieves - Final Storyboardby *Canadian-Rainwater

The (hopefully) final version of the Honour Amongst Thieves storyboard. After weeks of brainstorming with James, Louis, and Santiago's VAs I've finally got it to the point where I'm happy with it. You can follow the progress it's taken in these "behind-the-scenes" podcasts here: [link]

You can also watch the final animatic of this storyboard complete with rough SFX score, audio track, and temporary filler music track here: [link]

Any changes I might make to the storyboard from this point on will only be minor, and hopefully the VAs will soon be able to get to work recording the proper dialogue. The audio in this version was recorded using standard mics via Skype conference for the sake of this rough compilation.

Thanks for the tip, I think I'll do that then. Maybe if he's really screaming it in a rage more people will forgive his foreign accent.

I think he is great

, it's really admirable that he is doing it even if he doesn't speak the language that well (or at all, not really sure which one

) and I guess with a little practice the little spanish he has to talk will turn out good. Besides it doesn't matter if it's a student film or not, you all are putting great deal of effort in it, and that's what counts

It just ocurred to me that you could also use "Maldito maricón" (which litteraly means "damn faggot" or more commonly "fucking faggot") it's a more strong way of cursing, but given that Santiago is really angry and frustrated I think he could say it, though there is the fact that he is in the church, and taking in account how religious he is, he shouldn't be saying that kind of things, then again, the word "maldito" on its own means "cursed", so, I don't know

, I just started rambling, sorry about that, it's just that I'm quite facinated with your story

, I'm gonna stop writing now.

I cannot WAIT to see your finished product! You've put so much work into it, and it's awesome seeing all of steps in your animation being posted!

These characters are great, and I just love how different they all are, even general shape-wise! Gah, I need to try putting as much thought int my works as you!(Or even half!)
