It's not often the Commodore gets to be the one in charge of the situation; I don't blame him from smart-assing when he can. I'm no longer certain if James will be in the final draft of the animated short, so on the off-chance he isn't I took the opportunity to fancify his attire to nightmarishly-detailed-to-animate proportions for the heck of it.

And Louis in white because nothing quite says "I was shot" like a big red bloodstain on your favorite embroidered coat.

You know, at first I wasn't sure what to make of these two, but now I've really grown fond of these characters. They're quite interesting and fun to follow and I also like the more serious bits, like the one where Louis gets hit by his father. And I like it how much effort you've put in their designs alone.

As for the strip itself and the ones that follow this one: love them! I really enjoy seeing James and Louis like this, with them having some sort of odd love/hate friendship where they drive each other crazy most of the time but still help when push really comes to shove. It's like they can't admit to themselves or to anyone else that they are more or less capable of putting up with each other : D I hope you keep drawing these two^^

Why thank you! I hope to continue their story in the form of a graphic novel one day, in which case there will definitely be plenty more poignant moments, as well as quirky ones, of course.
