When I have little-to-no Aion access, I draw my own characters.

Alotofthem.

Meet my mermen. Their designs are not yet perfect as I still haven't managed to pin them down to what I saw in my head during my various scuba trips while on holiday in Boracay. At the moment they're inspired by viperfish, oarfish, and lionfish, and a whole other myriad of strange deep deep DEEEEP sea fish I don't know the names of, the ones with the bright LED lights flashing all over them.

The top is the first design, the middle are developing, and the bottom ... don't ask. It's a scene from a short story I've not yet finished, inspired by the wreck dive.

They're marvelous.

I could tell the last scene was the kiss-of-life from the get-go. It's a classic!
