Crowning The King

I don't think I've ever seen so much gaudy colour in a single one of my comics. Ever. Happy Topsy Turvy Day.

Rather than draw a celebratory picture, I took a different approach and imagined Clopin would not have been the happiest of gypsy kings when Esmeralda got up on stage and publicly humiliated their deadliest enemy. He has an entire community to run and protect, he can't always stick his neck out for her. Influenced in part by :iconj-jay-jack's: fiction 'Just His Luck'.
