A compilation of several short storyboards I cooked up over the course of the week, exploring some of the possible mischief Louis might get up to in order to prove he's the better between himself and the Commodore. I have yet to discuss any of these with my professors; none may ever make it to appear in the final animation.

Louis and James's not-so-friendly rivalry takes place in and around 1701, during Queen Anne's War that pitted the French/Spanish against the English/Dutch. As such other characters like the "Spaniard" cropped up, but I didn't explore him in detail on account of not wanting to animate too many characters. By the time we get to the last storyboard we can see that I'm having trouble with this "keeping it simple" thing.

Good God my sides hurt so bad from laughing at this! So out of curiosity, if there was a female involved in the last story board (random woman on the navy ship) how would Louis react to her presence? Would he act the same or would he be more gentlemen like?

Louis doesn't hate women, it would depend on how she treats him. If she's a naval soldier, he'll treat her like one. If she's a kidnapped lady, he'll be her rescuer, etc.

Even if these don't appear in final animation, I can't wait to see it... this whole cast you have is just remarkably funny. Though you would have to do the morning one... even if it's post and just for fun, that is to funny to leave out... and the ascot thing.
