Development sketches for "Gluttony" from my in-the-works animation major this semester at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore.

Quite possibly the most difficult character I've had to develop yet and easily the one who underwent the most changes, ladies and gentlebeings, may I present the embodiment of Consumerism, Decadence, Wealth, and Gluttony.

When the Voodoo Priestess became representative of the forces of nature, her victim became the embodiment of the western world and straying from her. In the end no-matter our walks of life we all wind up dead and returned to her cycle, erego: fed to her ravenous Cannibalistic children.

That poor, good-looking man really needs to be paid more.

Also, the evolution to Fru-fru Mc-Jabbacakes is absolutely amazing.

Much better than the design at the top. The final one is a lot harder to feel sorry for.

I like him. And I honestly really like his thin, slender hands since hands somehow don't really get fat easily, and thin, almost feminine hands to me always looks like someone who wouldn't do any physical labor if his life depended on it (he has servants for that...), while bigger hands would get a little... truck-driver/lumberjacky. Sweet work with him. :)

You have a real talent for exaggerating physical features just enough to bring a mood or point across, but not enough to make it unrealistic. It is really interesting to see the different concepts and steps in character design. I hadn't really thought before about changing character designs and trying out new ones, but it definitely makes you characters amazing. You can really see all the effort you have put in this, and it is amazing.
