Take two of my attempt to draw Bib Fortuna in the Clone Wars style, since my first attempt failed.

It doubles as sequential homework for drawing class!

For those who missed it, I saw this horrendous abomination of my favorite Twi'lek in all existance (wherein they also made him a complete and total moron, which only served to make me froth at the mouth) and made a snide comment to my boyfriend that even I could draw him better in that style. Well he called me out for it and I couldn't turn down the challenge.

Feel like I did better than my last attempt, but the Clone Wars style is a long shot from what I'm used to so it looks more like I just bothered to ink a drawing of Bib for a change .... also the style seems to favor the crooked-down noses, which is the first mistake since I've spent enough time ~~oggling~~ studying Bib photos to know that's not the nose he has.

Used most of the colors of Bib in the comic but gave him the Twi'lek scoundrel outfit to prove that Bib can still look awesome with a limited pallet. I will say this though: while I despise the Clone Wars style as a 3D animation, I actually quite like it as a comic and think it has a certain appeal.

Also I totally gave him a band-strap-thingy around his lekku because I love it when Twi'leks decorate them like that.

I love this. Fortuna happens to be my fave Twi'lek as well, and seeing him like this makes me fangasm. I think people either have no idea or don't care about the fact that he was once a smuggler, and smugglers don't last particularly long out there when not fit/smart enough.

Plus you actually drew him handsome. Which he could have been, back in the days. (Actually, by Twi'lek standards, he's always a dish, I mean, look at those lekku. So long and thick. ^__~)

Actually Twi'lek were originally known for their attractive women and notoriously unattractive men. Then they got more popular and their Wookieepedia article was edited, but I remember how it was! That said I disagree and think Bib Fortuna is some hot stuff.

if they do put bib fortuna in the cw's, i really hope they ask you to draw him because your design does go along with the the era style and it would also be mega awesome!
