"She always chooses the worst times to fall asleep!" "No need to tell me that, Chanchey ..." -- Chanchey and Salazar, about Taniqa
The larger version of my 'Draw This Again' challenge found here:
... featuring one of the fonder moments I remember clearly from roleplay, despite it being 4 a.m. in the morning when this particular picture took place. Incidentally, that is why my character, Taniqa, is conked out so peacefully in Salazar's arms (I'd nodded off at the computer and set her to /follow while they helped me out of one of the most dangerous areas on Atys). It's nice to know that after four years I've gotten no better at drawing Matis, nor Trykers for that matter. I wish I could say my shading has got better since then, but light sources? What're those?
To Ryzom and the friends I made there; may its memory live on forever.
This is beautiful! *__* Especially since I started playing Ryzom again now and then and the game is experiencing some troublesome times. once more. I think you've improved a lot! For some reason I really love the shading of chancheys armor, no matter what. (light sources are nasty things).
It is a lovely game, and I find myself visiting sporadically as well. Unfortunately, when I logged in most recently all my character slots were cleared for some reason, and I can't think why. Still waiting to hear back from the Ryzom mods if they can restore Taniqa or not. =/
Ryzom is like a survivor story. It's amazing it's still alive. I played for a bit before it went down for xth time, then another stretch after it resurrected again. It's an amazing game. I'd consider playing it again if my financial situation would allow it.

What is especially nice about this one is the feeling of weight, the pressure of the world down there.
And all that effort with those fancy details on Chanchey's armor did turn out do be worth it. Nice work, girl!
