Last of the Halloween spam-dump, I swear! I felt in high enough spirits to dress as Louis again today at school, accompanied by :iconalasse-tasartir: who is my poor, unfortunate James. The other friend in the shots is :iconil3abylivia:.

Unfortunately, the proper coat and cravat I was having custom made for Louis never made it in time for Halloween. I had to resort to raiding my closet trying to find something he might wear should he wind up teleported to the 21st century. I sort of wound up looking like a tramp with no tits.

The four-inch heels were painful. James wore running shoes, all the better to get away from me. Most of the photos were taken inside the Level 3 Animation Studio, where you can see our work up on the walls, doors, windows ... and just about every surface blue tac will stick to.

The problem seems to be that Singapore itself lacks a lot in the makeup and props department. I must have hit every costume shop and makeup store I could find in my efforts to scrounge Louis's kit together in time for Halloween, and I only found ONE place that sold a (ridiculously expensive!) color palette with red/purple/blue for his eyes, since Singapore is apparently obsessed with baby-pink. I also couldn't find white powder ANYWHERE. The lightest offered would have been flesh-toned - albeit pale - foundation.

Well I'll be flying to Holland this Christmas, where I hope to find thigh-high heels in my size because I don't order shoes online, and Singapore is disturbingly lax in the shoes-in-my-massive-size compartment. I usually have to buy men's shoes over here, and obviously Singapore doesn't sell heels for men ... I'd need to go to Bangkok for that (no, really, advice from a drag-queen friend from one of my teachers ...) ... so I'll be looking for makeup over there too. Otherwise I'll definitely ask you for advice.

I live an hour from San Francisco...I can buy anything in basically any size- I am unreasonably spoiled. >.<

Thank you dear! But so much went wrong with Louis's! I'll definitely need to use some kind of foundation base next time, because by lunchtime the white powder was already getting smudged and blotted with patches of skin-color. Blech.
